I grew up in Mauritius, a small island near Madagascar. I loved math and physics, and a career in engineering was a no-brainer for me. In 1999, I landed in the US with a full scholarship from Tufts University. Without that I would not have come to the US. I studied Electrical Engineering, and in 2005 started working in the semiconductor industry. I’ve been in that industry for more than 15 years. I worked at a few large companies and my path has taken me from individual contributor, to senior management. My biggest and proudest achievements come from the work that I did to bring new products to market, to lead change and to steer a group towards a sustainable path. In 2020, I was accepted into MIT’s 2-yr Executive MBA program. After graduating in 2022, it was time for me to reflect on what I wanted to do next. To help me on that reflection, I decided to write about my career and leadership experiences. It was a therapeutic exercise. If you want to learn more about me, check out my stories and projects.
